Of course BRDs still buff better than CORs, it's all they can do, really. You guys can actually contribute significantly to damage via Marksmanship.

Why, why was such a beautiful idea not used for all the "old" jobs?

I mean, Maat is legendary and all, but he's a complete anus-head. Besides that, I completely refuse to believe that some geezer is the hardest hard-ass in the world. If an old man can chew me up, it's no wonder I get killed by rabbits.

A RDM in my LS finally beat him on her 27th run. I can't imagine how frustrating that had to be.

I think you're talking about maat. There is not legendary sandoria rdm u can fight as of now. However, rdm maat is probably the hardest out of all of the other jobs.

Question: When you've beaten maat with a job, can you try to beat him with another job? I mean, people could do the cap quests for blu/cor/pup just for the story of it or plain for the challenge if its possible, and it would be very nice.

Yes, you can challenge Maat on other jobs as well, but you don't have to (Many don't). However, if you'd ever like to have a Maat's cap (quite a feat), you'd need to beat him on every job (save the three expansion jobs).

First off these places arent really built for lvl 75s. i think of very few places where a group of lvl 75 can actually lvl or merit. honestly i think these new areas are built for very high 50's to low lvl 70's. the mass majority of these mobs are EP to D/C to me at 75. rarely can i see a evan match or tough mobs. so i fail to see whats so difficult,

AFs were meant to be feasible by large groups of people at the lvl required for AFs; a group of 10ish persons can hunt coffer keys, now try bringing a group of mid 50's to mount Zhayolm and see how fast they'll die.

Not only can you fight him as another job, you can also go back and fight him again as your Lv.75 job. I've already beaten Maat as RDM (1 - 1; I plan to break the tie as RDM eventually.), I already have my Testimony for WAR and DRK, and need one for SAM. (I WAS leveling SAM to fight Maat alone, but now that I'm having so much fun with SAM, I'm going to take it to the top of the mountain.)

The Maat Cap would be nice, but honestly, I don't think I could stomach WHM or BRD to Lv.66-70, and couldn't possibly afford NIN and/or RNG to Lv.70. lol But let's face it, that Cap's so damn sweet!

I like to think of it as semi-sweet. On the one hand, accomplishment, you know? But on the other hand, 15 level 66+ jobs.

Also, I just really like semi-sweet chocolate chips, so I try and make them a part of as many analogies as I can.
