I hope the casting time on the enhancement is relative to your riding time, meaning if you rode around for 30 minutes you would have to wait 30 minutes to call out your chocobo again. That would make a LOT of sense. Fixed timer (No, thanks.). Dynamic Timer (Yes, please). I wish they would use a dynamic timer on fellowship's Signal Pearls or Warp Cudgels. Carrying around multiple clubs suck ass.

To all the doubters about riding your own chocobo. Go suck on a Jennet.

When I retire my chocobo, can I eat it? Or would it run out in the wild a la VG Cats? (You should know that comic with Aerith breeding the golden chocobo *wink wink*

EDIT: Why do Jennet's look like peacocks? Tarutaru's go ride a Jennet... so... a = c ?

I don't recall SE ever saying they wouldn't be ridable, when was this?

I remember at Fan Fest, someone asked if they'd be able to summon chocobos, and they said something to the effect of "We'll think about it. E-mail us if you want it to happen"

I think the extra feathers are just attached to the choco's "clothes." The Tribune had a couple of images of the ancient tarus.. their clothes were kinda decorative.

I'm loving this update so far the

Palfrey
The mid-sized palfreys were bred to withstand the searing air and blazing heat of the desert. They are mainly raised in the Republic of Bastok and on Zepwell Island. With a relatively gentle demeanor, these chocobos are suited for those with who lack advanced riding skills. Palfreys are known to come in both blue and yellow.

Is all about me. Blue is my fav color.. The Wonderfully Blue, Bluemage riding into battle on her blue chicken named chobi.

Tribune had an article on chocobos once, giving the different breeds info, jennet are the ones tarus and mithra already ride.


Don't go hoping for a huge difference in look, this is ffxi we're talking about, we have like three models for craps we level on from 20-75.
