about the chocobo colors, if i remember correctly, someone mined some dats , which showed some chocobo models in different colors, and posted them here somwhere- i cannot remember where though, sorry

Yes, there are multiple colors of the chocobos, they're already in the .dat files.

When we got the update, I did some data mining and found a bunch of chocobo models that were broken into seperate pieces (head, body, legs, etc) unlike the normal chocobos which are all contained in one single .dat file. For this reason, it's not viewable in the modelviewer but I put together a little image from looking at them with POLUtils. Here are the bodies:

I was very, very excited when I first heard about the chocobo breeding system. Not anymore...



After reading the posts here, I'm convinced that this is total bs, a complete waste of time, both for the programmers at Square Enix and for us players!
