    For Monk what is the point of giving up your hp to others in your pt? For one, that sounds stupid. Might as well give mnk's mp and make us spam curaga XD! I say monks get a type of "regen" job trait or something that would be more intresting imo. We will have to see how that is gonna work out tho.

      That idea was tossed around at the Fan Festival, but what the official announcement says is an ability to increase the party's max HP, like the Barbarian's Battle Orders skill in Diablo II. I do think it would be interesting of Chakra was made AoE, though. That skill ruled in FF:T.

            i agree with everything that people are saying about summoner, just wanna throw some ideas out.


            in terms of summoner "Auras" i think this is great idea. it could either be an elemental aura, buffing respective elemental damage by a certain amount, and/or buffing a corresponding stat (str for ifrit, int for shiva, etc).

            one great thing that this aura suggestion will do is give smns a reason to be subbed. for example, sub it to blm, and if your fighting, say, pugils, summon ramuh for the added elemental thunder damage buff. sub smn to whm, and having carbuncle out would aid in cures. keep the summon of the element your magic bursting with out. it would be a nice addition.

            also, for the sake of variation, you guys have any suggestions about what they could do to vary some job/sub job combos? not just for smn persay, but thats also a topic. ive had a small discussion with karinya in game on a number of these topics, and while karinya's logic makes much more sense than mine does, id still like to here what people have to say in terms of varying sub job combos.

            One other thing, and this ties into the subjob issue. I think something SE should consider, if only for a minute, what the actual summoner can do while an avatar is out. as of now, a summoners job is to pretty much control the avatars action, but they dont actually do much on their own, besides whats given to them from their sub. so when the avatar isnt doing anything, a summoner is usually curing. what do you guys think about giving summoners themselves some abilities, if only just a few? like for instance, things a summoner could do TO his/her avatar, such as avatar buffs, or maybe one or two avatar curing spells, maybe an astral seal, i dunno. just a thought.

            also, really quickly, im assuming you still wont be allowed to rest while an avatar is out if they got rid of the perpetuation cost? just something to keep in mind.

              Shikigami is fun to camp, my LS has been the scourge of just about anyone else on Ramuh wanting a Yinyang robe. We just got our 14 last night (for our level 53 SMN without one). We get /tells from people asking if we really need more, or asking if they can hire us to get one for them.

              I think we're done with them now though. All our SMNs have one.

                thats seriously the only Piece of Summoners Gear I have 0 desire to own, dunno I think If it looked better i'd seriously think about getting one, Then again naw!
