I think I would rather have some new emotes than this. Frankly the emotes would be more useful I think!

I know I will never use this. I'm sure someone in my ls will sign up for it and I'll go in to check it out, but in the end it's a waste of my time I think.

What an odd addition... I can't imagine what use this will have. Our LS does have gatherings and we pick random zones to 'party' in and bring food/drinks, do activities, games etc.. But for an hour? >.>;; Our LS gatherings take upward of 4-6hrs!! lol

I agree, the actually good thing would be a linkshell mog house for every ls. like i dont know... have it cost a fee, where you could store items.... etc. That idea would be much better

I agree, a friend of mine plays CoH and he mentions they have a thing called "super base" which would be a linkshell mog house, where each linkshell has its own "base" You can add furniture etc.... that would be cool instead of this limited thing that wil be probably full every time or used for other stuff.

Lets wait and see.

I use to play Asheron's Call (first one) and before I quit, they offered Mansions and Houses for sale, and if you couldn't afford houses, you could get a apartment.

anyway the allegiance I was in had a mansion, and in the mansion you had a private dungeon type area. It was very well done. (the programmers from Turbine do fantastic work, they are also working on the new Dungeons & Dragons Online MMORPG) You can also put stuff in the mansion, lock the mansion doors so only your Allegiance can enter, host meetings and so forth. Of course there was that monthy rental fee lol in this case you had to quest for items to keep your mansion. Or something similar (I don't quite remember it was such a long time ago)

Anyways, too bad we can't visit people from other servers, now that I actually have friends on Lakishimi and my original server Shiva. (I miss all you guys!) sending private messages / e-mails just isn't the same...

Well I meant in the context that the time I spend in game is very busy and I don't have time to sit around in a private area doing nothing. Other than that, I'm retired so my entire day can be a waste of time!

Well.. i SEE FFXI as god cheap entertainment! I rather play FFXI and have a good time than going to a night club EVERY weekend and spend like 60 dollars on drinks etc.

Yeah, the addition I know though would be a great for the players who really enjoy playing on the RPG part of the aspect. Creating a room and space were they can play out an RPG setting. This is really no different then wedding cerimonies in the game, players wanting to do the wedding cerimonies are already taking part in the RPG aspect so why would be any different to that same line?

And going here with a friend/group of friends by the hour gives no benefit or status symbol as does marriage.
