However, there is a TIME LIMIT.

If you do not get the in-game Fan Festival item/prizes before the NPC/Moogle is gone, you lose it! Forever!

The moogle rod is ready to be released to the attendees who registered for Fan Festival! But that's not the only in-game item that was awarded FINAL FANTASY XI fans on Fan Festival weekend! If you were one of the lucky attendees to be awarded the Heroes Combat orb for successfully completing one Live Quest or if you happened to complete them all awarding you a Chocobo Wand, we have information for you as well. Below is the timeline, locations, and step by step instructions on how you can gather your in-game prizes and enjoy them.

Moogle rod

March 24th - April 24th
In front of the Mog house in Port San d'Oria, Port Bastok or Windurst Walls. Attendees are able to obtain the moogle rod after they talk to the moogle in one of the three designated locations.

Heroes Combat orb

April 25th -
Delivery Box care of: MHMU
Enter Mog house after designated date and check delivery box.

Chocobo wand

April 25th - May 25th
In front of the Mog house in Port San d'Oria, Port Bastok or Windurst Walls. Attendees are able to obtain the chocobo wand after they talk to the moogle in one of the three designated locations.

I don't know yet, it has a 20 hour recharge, and when you receive it, it starts the 20 hour count down. I'll let you know at 10:30 pm pst which is about 20 hours from when I got my rod. ^_^.;;

Yes you can go to Upper Delfutt's Tower to the Stellar Fulcrum and choose to fight vs 1 or 2 or 3 of the HEROES!

Though, you need 1 Orb per battle and I'm sure they crack after use. My team beat all 3 of the battles, however, I'm wondering if we can do them with Advanced jobs and expansion jobs? Ok Prince Trion, time for you to eat Astral Flow (does 1 damage SHIET!) {Run away!}

Something I noticed about the moogle rod, when you smack something with it, you hear the sound of a little moogle squeeking or crying or whatever it is that they do. Kawaii~~

Edit: 2:50am, used Moogle Rod on a LS mate Oppie, he used the Moogle Pie and it gave him +20 hp, +20 mp, +1 to all stats, +2 mp while healing, and a type of regen. Nothing else I can discern as of yet.

Edit 2: LS mate said it was +2 hp when /heal, and +2 mp when /heal. So that's why I thought he was regening. Well I dunno, I only gave out 2 pies so far, gonna see if I give out any more maybe they will test differently.

seems to last 3 hours too. didn't notice the regen though.
