          I want to see what kind of effect that will have on Dynamis Statue parties. It could be about to become alot harder if this change has a major effect.

          Cure 5 would make WHM more obsolete, something they said they're trying to reverse. They would then only have status cures and Curaga. Same for BLM, Giving RDM tier 4 would take away BLM's uniqueness with the exception of -ga spells. They did say they were agging more unique RDM spells. Something I'd much rather see than something someone else already has.

            I agree with kafeen on the this the blms need to be nerfed in pt it could unbalance the job distribution. I mean then everyone would be a blm and party if it was easy leveling, and it makes certain events a breeze.

            I would suspect that blm/ppm would not be effective I bet it would require items for puppets rather than summoning and the items like jugs would be available to ppm as main

            Puppeteer would be similar to Summoner and Beastmaster, in that the player would perform actions with a pet. Using different puppets, the player is able to fill different roles in the party.

            Puppet HP is directly based on the puppeteer's HP. If the puppet is damaged, so is the puppeteer, and vice versa.

            Techniques and abilities of the pupper cost MP, and their strength is based on MND.

            A puppeteer is defenseless without his puppet, and therefore does not equip weapons. Instead, the puppet itself is equipped in the weapon slot. Each puppet has its own strengths and weaknesses.

            Puppets attack and perform techniques by using different weapons. The puppeteer equips the weapons in his ammo slot.

            Types of Puppets

            Dragon Puppet
            Slow but powerful attacker
            Weapons: Needle, Launcher, Lance

            Moogle Puppet
            Supports the party with protective and healing spells
            Weapons: Launcher

            Shadow Puppet
            Weak puppet with high defense and a powerful counterattack
            Weapons: Needle, Lance

            Weapon Types

            Needle
            Puppet weapon used to disable foes

            Lance
            Large weapon used to take down enemies

            Launcher
            Using the spirit bond between the puppeteer and puppet, this weapon uses energy to attack.


            Abilities and Spells

            2 Hour - Marionette's Dance
            Duration: 2:30
            Description: All puppet abilites and techniques no longer cost MP. Cooldown timers are reduced. Puppet's HP is no longer tied to puppeteers's HP, and can continue functioning after losing all HP. If all of the puppet's HP is lost when the 2hour duration ends, puppet is unequipped.

            *Note - Launcher weapon is a bit different than the other weapons. When engaged with an enemy, the puppeteer's MP is slowly drained. Techniques performed with the launcher also take MP along with TP. The Launcher also counts as a ranged weapon.

              Khidir, that information is taken from Allakhazam, and is not official. It's just someone's theory on how a Puppeteer job would work. If you go find the actual thread, it's dated over a year ago.

                  Notable points in the video:

                  1:02 - Volacanic zone

                  1:07 - see mountainous area, looks like beastmen, large armored gigas-like mobs walking about.

                  1:16 - party is fighting gigas-like beastman spotted earlier at 1:07. beastman using Diaga or Diaga II

                  1:40 - in an underwater city, a fish is visible out the window swimming by with other temple spires also visible underwater

                  1:56 - Choco racing between other players, looks to be performed in Al Zhabi

                  1:59 - BLU seems to be fighting in underground zone, most likely movalpolos

                  2:08 - Cerberus clearly visible

                  2:09 - Cermet City, looks like zilartian architecture....again.

                          I'm not too worried about a RDM update. They stated they've been thinking about more RDM orgional spells, and I have a theory as to how BLU would really catalist well with rdm as either a subjob or main.

                          For instance, if BLU gets the EX Weaponskills, and a rdm could equip Thousand Neetles with a bluemage subjob, you have your rdm hybrid DD all those stubborn melee rdms have been wanting.

                          Also you'll have a shift in melee rdms away from the rdm job to go to BLU, as they seem to be a frontline combattant ontop of their magical proace (With all the AoE's they have, I think it would be dangerous not to be near the mob and limit the 'accidental hit' range a bit.

                          So I'm not too worried about any lack of updates to the rdm job. If it gets more orgional spells I'll be happy as a clam. Otherwise, I have plenty of new jobs to tinker with to see if any work well as a redmage sub.

                                They probably take the attitude of, "Wow, we didn't think of that! That guy's good!" I mean, they have said over and over they want people to push the bounderies, but maintain game balance. - and one person able to do it just makes one really good player.

                                Now if someone -else- manages to solo genbu, I bet that attitude changes to "Shit, we dun and fucked up, lets fix it."

                                Though you are right... they've said they want to get people away from /nin dependance...
