- The Sequel to "Storms of Fate"

The quest "Storms of Fate," which brought players into direct conflict with the mighty Bahamut, was introduced in the December 2005 version update. This February, prepare for the next chapter in this epic story with a new quest to challenge the most powerful of adventurers.

*The Rise of the Zilart and Chains of Promathia expansion discs must be installed and registered in order to undertake this quest. Certain storyline progression in both expansion discs is also required.

- Prime Avatar Battles

Up until now, there have been other quests that allowed players to test themselves in battle against the prime avatars. In this new quest, however, the protectors of the protocrystals will be stronger than ever before, requiring adventurers to rethink old strategies.

This quest will allow a maximum of 18 people to take the field against these more powerful manifestations of the avatars.

Quests that hint at adventures to come, as well as many other additions, await you in the February version update.

If anything, it's you working with Ulmia and Prishe to take on the 6 Avatar Primes.

With 18 people, setup a sleep cycle for 5 of the avatars while you chew them apart one by one.

Ouch... imagine if those avatars do their iname final bloodpacts at the same time... instant wipe, or even worse, what if they have more spells and abilities that we dont even know about?

Fighting Fenrir and Diabolos at the same time ()-() that should be fun. Glad I own a Summoner LS, 18 SMNs vs avatars is gonna rock.

It says its vs the Protocrystal avatars so thats gonna be all but Carby, Diablolos, Fenrir, Bahamut, and Phoniex. plus they are gonna be powered up so my guess is the 2hrs will have the power to wipe alliances (plus with 3 at a time, I am sure S-E is sickminded enough to make them resist sleep).

Also it looks like the new story BC could be more than just CoP NPCs but vs RoZ ally NPCs as well, since it takes "progression" in both expansions (meaning you have to finish them most likely).

ooooh this does sound fun ^^ hard, but fun. If it is all 6 elemental avatars at once it will be very interesting since ele avatars cant be slept, stunned, or pretty much given any kind of status effects (with a few exceptions). I wanna try it now.

"Storms of Fate" continued huh? Don't know the quests up near that end or the CoP missions but some reason this kind of sounds like a potential for another Summons to come around.....or not.

Just what we need. More ways to lose exp. Excellent! How about upping the mob levels in certain areas so we can get more exp from them? 92 exp per kill on very tough in krt is killing me here.

You are forgetting the National Heros.

I know the ones form windrust, as I am windurstian.

Semi Lafia , Rng- ??? (WHM? she has a pld style look of her)


There is 1-2 for each country, each one deadly and cunning in their own ways. They made great allies, but how would they be as enemies?

Hehe Now that you say that, My Level 4 avatar spells have been changed to thier level 75 BP's. The animations rock. I Can't wait to fight this. Im hoping the requirement is at least chapter 4-5 of promathia. Havent progressed much in
months.
