Can you cast Bind on him?

I wouldn't care to try that out. Worst Case Scenerio you can cast Bind on him then he considers you to be an aggressor. Then you get to solo Fenrir. Although i don't have a summoner i'm pretty sure Soloing Fenrir would not be good for your health.

You can't do it anyway, he's considered an NPC, not a mob.

no you do not bring up any special fish. but better luck. i have tried in bastok, windy and sandy and nothing special. also tried in dunes and jueno and still nothing special.

Heres a SS of me stopping him.

What i did both times was simply /follow
after aboput 20 seconds he stopped and i talked to each taru.

First taru gave me fishing buff lasted about 2 + hrs.
af2 taru gave me shockspikes.
JSE taru gave me protect

it doesnt have much significance, plus the buffs dont last that long exept for the fishing buff
