I wouldn't say that. :p You underestimate the level of drg hate among ffxi players. But it might make things better and a little easier for drg over time.

i dunno... people loved ranger. the patch didn't really hurt rng as much as people think, yet all of a sudden, no one is playing the job and its boards are almost dead.

a small change can often be percieved as a big one... i'm looking foreward to this change. i think this will change things for drg's A LOT.

i still say, however, that drg hate never made any sense at all...

this will also bring more players to the job and keep them there.
tihs is good for everyone, not just drgs.

Where's the RDM patch -.-!!!!

And i was gonna raise DRG when I heard this (to run around as RDM/DRG, lmao) but they said with main job only. So MEEEH!!! DRG will stay unlocked, lol

It doesn't help the WS situation, one that sam totaly dominates on HNM. It fixes almost everything else though.

well, all jobs would have the same problem with gaining tp on mobs they can't hit^^. and drg can still sub /sam on hnm's same as drk, thf, etc.

this will definitely help drg for xp pt's, which was always drg's biggest complaint.

erm o.O does this mean if i sub drg i can use call wyvern? or do drgs have 2 hour abilities and one is really just 20 minutes

you can't sub call wyvern. :p says so in the update. Call Wyvern is now a drg only ability and drgs get a new 2 hour

And where is Impaction? >_> I've been waiting for him to show his face all day. Could he really have died? That would suck. And it would be kinda ironic. Dying on the day that they decide to update drg. Well, at least I think it's ironic. Or maybe it's just unfortunate.

they're right, most people not wanting a drg in thier pt w/o a wyvern and they die too fast. Just 2 Converts, Elemental Seals or Divine Seal and the DRG can call his pet back ^^.

hopefully the recast timer should be up when the pet dies.

when you're soloing drg to 10 and the wyvern dies, though you can do it, it just isn't fun anymore, after all if i wanted to fight w/o a pet I'd be war, drk or pld for a few examples.

when i read opening post, first thing i did was to sign on pol friend plus and send my friend who plays drg for our static some of the info. I'm sure he'll be happy, especially after the wondering Gob incident, right after he called his wyvern right before the 6th member arrived. yeah, that crap happens, 2hrs is too much considering it's the "core" of the job.

i'll go get my DRG job now.

Many of my 75 friends /cry in game when they have DRG in their PT. That's DRG reputation... lol hopefully they'll get better.
