PlayOnline Server Maintenance (Oct. 20)

At the following time we will be conducting PlayOnline server maintenance. During this period, FINAL FANTASY XI and Tetra Master will be unavailable.

The "Friend List Plus" feature, the "Q&A" feature, as well as the mail form available under the "Services & Support" section accessible from the official PlayOnline homepage (http://www.playonline.com/) will also be unavailable.

We realize that this is another interminable maintenance, not long after the previous Oct. 13 maintenance. However, we ask for your understanding and cooperation so we can strive to maintain the best service possible.

The backbone of the PlayOnline server equipment will be exchanged.

I hope with all these updates things will be better all around. I don't have any complaints, only had trouble this morning 7:30am pst with connecting.

PDT = PST + Daylight Savings Time. When Daylight Savings Time ends, you'll start seeing them use PST again.

Also, S-E has had the tendancy to schedule these things at horrible times for me. My CoP static was going to do Promyvion - Vahlz tomorrow. ;_;

As for daylight savings time, did they ever decide to extend it this year or not? I'd heard a while back there was talking of not ending it until November, but never heard anything definative. So, end of October or November????

I think I'll go for the rare, but possible, 4 hour extension. S-E has kept the extensions lower than usual the last few times. They're due for a big one.

Lol, I have no clue. I know I heard before of some talk of them making Daylight Savings Time shift by 2hrs before, something about the worlds axis shifting enough that 1hr no longer gets you the light savings as it did in the past. All I do know is the one major thing stopping it was Airlines stating something about it affecting all their international flights and such, something that made no sense to me.
