Yeah the Realvana cafe has been there for awhile ,When I went back in 2k3 it was there.
Akihabara rocks, you have everything you could possibly want within a 3 mile radius.if you dun feel like going home, go to a youth hostel for 20 bucks a night.its great.

Another thing, you can get a Member's Card and have it stamped every time you go there for points. You can use points to get free stuff.

I wanted a Fenrir card but they were all out >< So I settled for Shiva ^^

Im planning a trip there next year around the Sakura Matsuri, Ill Swing by real vana and take pics and stuff. But the Sakura Matsuri is a long way off hehe.

I don't think I could go there......FFXI while I visit a foriegn country is a BAAAAAAAAAD thing! Collectibles to buy is a BAAAAAAAAAAAAAD thing! I probably would never leave the place. I can just see my friends now.....

Them: "How was Japan??"
Me: "Oh...ya....it was nice. There was this FFXI cafe and they had......and I did.......and I bought...and I gained 5 levels....even got to sleep there.....blah blah blah"
Them: "Um....ok...but did you get to see any temples? Mount Fugi?..."
Me: "I saw postcards of that stuff!!"

Well hopefully you could buy a few collectibles without playing there.. I wouldn't want to play there. Just curious what the place is like: the atmosphere? the setting? the ppl? etc. And I'll certainly bring home some of those collectibles.

atmosphere: smelling of cigarrettes, or fart, moody and quiet, damp

setting: japanese toys and empty plates or mugs, empty bags, litter

ppl: i can't think of anything that wouldnt gross me for the rest of the day, so i better not, because i need my sanity to work properly
