The way they worded the description on the official site implies that it will be something to use by yourself, outside of a party. The Japanese description says 例えば「楽な相手」 ("Easy Prey, for example").

I doubt it would benefit BST that much if it's for easier mobs. I rarely go after anything below EM (usually T to even an ocasional IT depending on what I'm fighting). I can't see how a little extra XP from EP would be useful when i can take out Ts at a decent enough pace that I'd probably get better xp from that than using an item on EP.

Yeah, really just trying to make a guess w/o knowing how beneficial its really gonna be. My old roomate played bst, so just trying to figure based on what little I knew of his time soloing bst (started duoing and trioing with a cpl other bst's before he quit).
With the npc quest and stuff, I know a lot of ppl did it more b/c it was fun rather than it making getting xp any better. Seems this would have to give something that could be seen as a beneficial boost or it would come across as a usuless time sink. Though, as someone pointed out earlier, could give a decent way of getting a little xp while lfg. Oh well, even more stuff to wait on in the next update.

When I read this, it looked to me like more of a trait than an enchantment. For instance, what if this allowed you to exp chain with EP or DC? That would match the description of "eventually make a substantial difference" since a 10-30% bonus would only be between 1 and 24 EXP. And I think it would be fun to see how quickly you could take EP or DC, and how many until you had to rest.

Then again, "taking advantage of the bonus every day" seems to imply an enchantment. However, it's worthy to note that it states "set period of time has passed or certain conditions are met." The former matches an enchantment, the latter implies a latent effect, or more specifically, a reverse latent effect. Considering it talks about "new items" we can expect there to be different ways to get this EXP bonus. I expect a low rank enchantment version and a high rank "on for X kills" version. Perhaps we may even see an "always on" version that's balanced merely by taking requiring high rank and filling a valuable equipment slot.

You have to wear it, wait for timer, then use it, as an enchantment

The enchantment will do as discribed. I.E exp +50%

You will see a [exp] enchantment on your screen, kill stuff. Solo, or in pt, your xp will be that much more.

This will last until the timer limit, or bonus XP limit. I.E 1000 xp extra.

Wait for the 16hr, and use again when seen fit. I.E use if as much as possible = potential 7000xp extra.

It can be recharge after tally, for 100cp per charge.

A trick with these that you might not know yet: if you use one just before logging out, the next time you log in you will still have the exp enchantment for the next 3 hours, but the reuse timer on the ring will count down while you're logged out. So you can effectively get 2 uses on the same night, if you don't use it the night before.

This is best done if you have a static, so that you can be guaranteed a party soon after you log on that will stick together and get enough exp to get the full bonus before it wears off; or if you are going to solo.

I don't know why they thought these weren't going to be used in parties though. Getting 11k instead of 10k may not seem like much, but over time it will definitely add up and 100 cp for 1000 exp is a fantastic deal.

I didn't like the rings at first but now I'm warming up to them. LOL @ my lvl though 1k cuts like what 30mins of Lving? Which is good cause then I have more time to farm. ^^
