FINAL FANTASY XI Development Team (9/9/2005)

"A new option allowing adventurers to store equipment and furnishings obtained from special events will be introduced in the October version update. Storable equipment will be limited to those items that are displayed on a character when equipped. Adventurers will be able to store both normal and high-quality items, but will not receive a key item in exchange as in other equipment storage services.
Look for this new service in the upcoming version update!"

Dang!! I already tossed my Sashes from the Buffalo event.

I was more interested in the "Online Store Debuts FINAL FANTASY XI Nation T-shirts!" announcement below that though. ^^

oh....yes....sweet merciful lord yes!
ive got just about every item from events since like 2002
3 pumpkin heads, 1 staff, santa hat, yukata, swimgear, those eggs...the costume belts, the lucky egg, and some other random stuf...
that'll clear out like 12 spaces :D!

Please note that these pieces are only the weapon (probably not ranged), head (excluding hairpins etc), body, hand, leg, and feet. Only pieces that cause your character to disappear and reappear after equipping would fall under this catagory.

well, this is still better than we had. so

12 spaces eh? that's more than 1 MH upgrade (MH upgrade 10) or needing 3 Gobbiebags (5 spaces ea.) to hold it all (to put this item accumlation in perspective)

It's about time they decided to add something for all that rare/ex crap from events because my storage was running out of space...

NPC sotrage, like the AF storage -> which is now "most" or "some" 30+ armor can be stored there.

ie in NSandy, outside furniture shop with all the crates.
