I do like the look of machinist as another rnged dps to try and thank god for the tank and healer jobs to maybe dps que on new expansion wont be as long as it currently is

What I want to know is if Astrologian will be a gambling healer, because that seems to be the impression it's giving off with the whole Tarot cards deal.

Can't wait to try out Machinist though, apparently it's going to work by placing Turrets and other shenanigans around the battlefield. I'd still like to see more of the XI jobs make it back eventually (and for Archer to finally branch off into Ranger while changing Bard to be much more support oriented) but for now this'll do.

I love that 1 concept art of the Au Ra DRK with Cloud's hairstyle. I'm guessing they're half-dragon or something, as YP did mention they were considering that as a future race. Still not sure if Yigiri is Au Ra or not, doesn't seem like it to me.

there are so many things to mew about =^^= Also, Yugiri definitely resembles this Au Ra race. she has the same tail, average height and horns pattern.

I don't think Astrologist is a gambler/healer, since since astrology only uses 12 of the 22 major arcana a zodiac-like fashion. Fortunetellers more than gamblers.

Just found out scorpios are Death arcana. Awesome.

The Astologians are fortune tellers that divine using the stars.. You meet a whole bunch of them at the Observatory in Coerthas during the Garuda Story Arc. Their main weapon isn't the cards, it's the Star Glove, you know, the thing used to divine the stars when it's too light or cloudy to see them.

Would like more Lore info on them though since this class does genuinely interest me. That said, I will be levelling DRK because it's fucking DRK.

I really hope the DRK Nexus weapon has a black glow to it.
