    Re: PSA for nVidia owners

I use CCleaner to clean out the registry, but it looks like it's only ever picking up old keys from uninstalled software and old McAfee firewall rules.

I thought that's what was going on as well but when I actually looked at the details of the keys being deleted (the last time it was over a hundred keys from just getting rid of World of Warcraft, Sony Ericsson's PC Companion, Sony Vega trial edition and two "wtf is dis shit" apps that must've slipped past Chrome's defenses) some of the keys had strings that governed the way memory was either allocated, or how it utilized threading performances, or even how often it would access cache and other particulars. I wanted to actually dive into registry programming a while back during FFXIV 1.0 to see if there was a hack to utilize alt-tabbing (back then) until I had discovered a banned 3rd party windowing application (it apparently did such a good job that it worked all the way to the end of 1.0 service and the app developers had received a cease-and-desist letter from corporate counsel)
