  • Dungeons means more Hp?

So, I just recently noticed this, but I am curious as to why this is happening.

As I am outside of a dungeon on my paladin, I sit at 5.1k Hp. Upon entering one, or a primal fight, I jump up to 5.3k. There is no explanation for this jump in Hp, it's not much, but it's kinda bugging me as to there is no enchantment on me.

This also happens to me when I go in as an Arcanist.

You get a bonus to your stats based on the classes / jobs of your party members. You'll see a little bar displaying STR, VIT, MND, INT, PIE, DEX in whatever order they are in. Essentially, whichever one of those is lit up, you're getting the bonus for that stat. And since you're a paladin, your HP will be boosted if (I believe) you're in at least a light party.

Ah! Ok thanks for the information.

I just thought those bars were lit up because they showed what the priority stats were in the party.

It also does it in full parties as well.

I believe you also receive a health boost from a primal ... ARC/SMN/SCH can explain further, but I notice that when my friend puts his pet away (or it is out of range) my health pool drops a bit.
