I don't think this is anything new, it's been spoken about across all the servers and the other XIV forums out there. Let alone it actually being a surprise. He was in XI, so no doubt he'll be in XIV. You got beat to the punch already. But decent job I guess.

We almost beat Odin on the Hyperion server a couple of days ago (like, 1% left before he cleaved us all in two). I think the Halistroper's played a major part in taking our win away. So many people were afflicted with Bad Breath ailments.So ends the tale of Nestama the Galka in FFXI~Comment
