I honestly can't tell if Fleet of Foot is even doing anything - if it IS increasing my move speed it's not noticeable.

I finally broke 5k HP out of party on BLM



With a Flint Caviar outside of party:

SCH/WHM Glamours

NIN is only at 18 due to a busy workload but I plan to do a lot of levelling over the weekend and have some good glamours planned for my 50NIN. Please look forward to it.

I'm thinking of switching foods to HQ Sachertorte. +30 Spell Speed would put me over 500 Spell Speed which is VERY tempting given how absurdly high my Crit is right now. There are no bad stats for BLMs but I think I am hitting diminishing returns with my Crit investment (I'm hovering around 25-27% Crit Rate with or without +Crit Food) so I'm tempted to gun for Spell Speed.

500 Spell Speed puts me at a 2.35 Sec GCD, which means Fire has a 2.35 sec Cast Time, Flare has a 3.76s cast time, Fire/Blizzard III have a 3.29s Hard Cast Time, and Thunder II and III are at 2.82s and 3.29s respectively. That is VERY tempting...

blm to 45 am enjoying this job and got the JSE just got to get to 50 to get the final piece. Also its starlight celebration and so got the gear and also got my moogle suit delivered today from SE for all Fan fest attendees!

496 crit and 438 SS? Not totally sure but isn't that a bit low for a 115? My DRG's only around i98 or so but my crit is well over 500 now and my gear is comparatively gimp lol.

I thought you could push 600+ now at 120+? (or are you just showing off yer town gear?)

There's hardly any Crit on Caster Ironworks gear sadly and I my static doesn't have T9 cleared so I can't go for Dreadwyrm gear, plus I have way too much accuracy because of my weapon, I have terrible luck in T9 for weapon drops. Plus there's really no point in min/maxing until you're pushing the iLv cap anyway. That and there's no bad stat for BLM.

You basically gear for Crit or Spell Speed and use food for whatever is lowest. With Crit food my Crit looks less depressing.

Reallly you might as well just gear for Main Stat until you hit 130, then you can worry about Min/Maxing. Before then there's no point in farming something that will get replaced anyway.

Very true, since your primary stat contributes far more damage than any secondaries combined.

Even so, I do like running 500+ crit as my DRG gets a pretty nasty rate. I don't know if it's just luck on my part but I swear sometimes I'll run dungeons and get something like a 40~50% CR which is absurd. I'm really pissed off atm that my PC broke on me (total HDD failure...) and that I don't have an active sub as I saw in the recent patch DRG got some serious, long-overdue love. I'm actually not too keen on the removal of the placement requirements (flanking/behind etc.) as I feel that added an extra dimension of skill to the job, even if it made certain fights like Leviathan annoying. But the potency buffs and cooldown reductions are very much welcome. I'm torn between DRG and NIN now as they both fulfill similar roles and even function similarly but are distinct enough in how they go about it so as not to completely overlap.

On the one hand, DRG is far, far less susceptible to lag/fps problems and can really dish out nasty burst damage, but I like how speedy NIN is and the support abilities it has. (Plus it's freaking Ninja!) Grr....

Finally got my BLM Atma Weapon. The hell part of that grind is over. Now on to the time consuming and expensive parts of the grind.

Also got SCH up to iLv103.
