Aaaand I unsubscribed. End-game FFXIV is a slow grind for gear, which only serves to make the grind a little easier. Not that the grind isn't already pushing the definition of too easy.

Not worth my time or money.

I've been maxing out soldiery each week by running Blayfox, and I still find it enjoyable as long as its a speed run, but when it's a slow run, bleh.......... What other dungeons give as much soldiery tomes? Amapdor? Does it take much longer for that one to be completed?

Amdapor isn't twice as long. It is about the same length, you just can't pull entire rooms full of mobs in Amdapor because of the Hecteyes spawn infinitely if you don't kill the Mold Colonies.

Amdapor is very fun, it reminds me a lot of Promyvion from XI in design, and Diabolos is a very fun fight. His section is basically like Pso'Xia.

Diabolos was fun, but that dungeon was definitely longer than Brayflox.

Because people keep asking me about what gear I'm using

No food buffs because I'm not eating my own merchandise for screenshots when I can sell it. For BLM in Coil I just equip the iLv90 Myth Gloves and/or Body for the Accuracy.

How do you glamor stuff? I think I did the quest. I've just been running Blayfox over and over, lol... After this week I'll have all i100 accessories, then its time to start on the equipment.

Allagan Tome obtained. My SMN is officially at a higher iLv than BLM even though I barely play it XD

Still no luck on Allagan Sceptre or Wave Staff farming. Those things only ever seem to drop when I'm on WAR or SCH and I always lose the Greed Roll.

Pretty much. They did gearing pretty well this time. Soldiery Gear, Allagan Gear and iLv90 Crated Gear (with Melds) are on par with each other. Currently the second best pants you can get for a BLM/SMN are the ilv90 crafted ones if properly melded. The best would be the High Allagan ones but they are a T9 drop so hard to farm.

Basically you want to be buying your Soldiery Gear while also picking up High Allagan and Sands of Time. Current BiS honestly depends on what you have available to use, so there's not one single "this is the best set to use" set anymore.
