Completed cutters cry dungeon with only one wipe.just 600 seals from next storm guard level.

Thanks Aeni. I think I'm ok gearing up from the main story and class quests for now. My first couple of deaths was not so much from gear as it was from learning how to weave Flash in with my attacks (god, Flash sharing the global cool down is so annoying) and couldn't keep them off Ben well enough to have him heal me. 3rd was from the last guy AOE catching Ben and 4th from it catching me even though I was out of the red zone many times.

that out of red zone thing is anoying I've been hit many times and its due to minor lag or the fact that as soona s it appears if your in middle of attack move you have no chance avoiding it. With that quest its the heartstopper thing you have to avoid I jsut ran through the guy then once he did move hit him run through again and flash so hes always facing you and keep ben behind him.

Yeah, the lag kills me sometimes, especially in Toto Rak when I would try to time my stun to the knock back attacks. It's like you need to know exactly at what point something is going to happen to make it in time. The casting bar for enemy attacks are imprecise in that fashion as even if you were to get out of the indicated zone or throw up an interrupt, say at 80%, you'll still get hit. Somehow they need to calibrate in lead times in their programming to compensate for the lag, but maybe they did, and just that so many concurrent Duty Finder instances are up that the system is being overloaded.

Latency nailed me a few times during the Titan fight when I was still learning the mechanics. They really need to shrink the hitbox a bit on that knockback too.

Joined the IF, got my chocobo, unlocked all the DoH classes (minus CUL) and have them all to 9-10.

BLM to 45. Got a bunch of AF stuff from the Lv45 quest too.

Garuda Fight done. It was the easiest primal so far since it's the only one that isn't purely luck based. Unlike Ifrit and Titan, the server in the Garuda fight doesn't randomly decide that you never moved out of the AoE so you should die instantly. Plus you can Manaward and Apocatastasis the Astral Flow.

I did have some Bard rage at be for both being a "Fucking retard BLM that can't move from the rocks" (while I was AoEing the adds with Blizzard II) and then "BLMs are OP!" when I went from 80%-0% solo DPSing the thing because the Bard thought that breaking LoS with the healer was a smart move. It somehow ended up being my fault too.

Knocked out a bunch more HQ synths (and sold some for profit!), beat some dungeons, most importantly, got SCH & SMN ^_^


That ACN 30 quest... my God.

And that dragon when your tanking in Brayflox's Longstop is a major issue with lagg when its poison breath does 800-900 damage a time and even though your miles away it hits you. I would do that one with a DD if I were you NT if you are suffering lagg issues. And you have to do it for storyline progression.

Hyperion server recently beat Odin. Sadly, due to silly priorities, Odin was invisible for most of the fight to me (and my party). All we got was a bronze and no prize

I even turned effects off and yet I could still see Shadowflare and that SCH super barrier skill other players used.

I swear there's some variance in the wind-up time on that knock-back. What helped me was keeping an eye on Titan and moving when he spins away from the tank.

Yeah same here, as soon as he turned, I'd be hitting sprint and getting the hell out of there.
