Well was going to do my lvl 35 Marauder quest but 7:30am GMT+1 i.e. 2:30am EST and still 1017 think everyone is leaving characters logged in.

Well managed to get an hours in before starting work finally and got level 36 and passed the lvl 35 warrior job quest which to be honest was far to easy. (sandworm)

BLM to 40.

Also made a Macro that basically automates crafting for me, and is faster than using Quick Synth. Plus it nets me the full XP.

It's not hard. It just has Standard Synth, wait for a few seconds, Standard Syth, wait, Standard Syth etc

Failing that I can just set my Standard Synth hotkey to autofire for the same result. It's how I bypass 1017. Set Num Pad 0 to autofire and put on a DVD.

Well you can throw in the occasional quality boost too but when you just want to spam something while levelling it's not too bad to just hit Standard Synth and watch it repeat until you're done.

Ifrit L50 downed, had a stab at Garuda L50.

Beat Aurum Vale dungeon so now have access to Mythic Tomestones, so started to collect them now for my AF+1.

Spend 45 minutes looking at the login screen but eventually beat it.

Yes, it is available from one of NPCs next to Rowena in Mor'Dohna, same NPC who issues Darklight gear.

Here is the WHM set I am working towards now: Search - Final Fantasy XIV : A Realm Reborn (FFXIV ARR) Database

Perhaps they are more accurately a AF2 set, however as there seems to be no official designation from SE I guess it doesn't matter either way. In either case the stats on them are very good and a considerable improvement over Darklight gear.

Why? There hasn't even been a real, full-scale raid implemented yet. This is akin to getting a blue set from dungeons (hard mode or otherwise) while raid content is still being worked on. I would rather SE put their work into making the game more accessible for everyone rather than be concerned about how fast Legacy players are consuming content.

Just be grateful you've kept your progression intact. Other companies would've done a complete reset, which would nullify these "first world" issues.

Who says "ARR AF" has anything to do with FFXI AF? I find it laughable that FFXI players are trying to interject their knowledge of FFXI terminology into a game which Yoshi-P had numerously said was not a clone of.

I see these things as mere dungeon sets which will be used for upcoming end game content. The Legacy players just need to hold on to their panties and stop whining like bitches. It's so irritating to see their sense of entitlement show up everywhere.
