I'm going to test the PS3 client out before returning to my PC to play :p Might not get very much time in this weekend, though, but maybe at least a good 4 hours or so.

First thing I'm doing is trying out Arcanist and Fishing.

I never got into crafting in XI. I think I'll get into it this time and make a name for myself as a crafter for a guild. Linkshells are back, I think I might make my own...or something and work from the ground up with newer players. :3 I might go to Balmung, would be nice to play with people from the forums.

1. Turn on PS3
2. Sign on PSN
3. Go to Account Management
4. Go to Enter Codes
5. Enter your code
6. You will see a window from the PSN Store confirming a download
7. Download the client (6.4GB)
8. If you don't already have an SE account, visit their website (under FFXIV, NOT SE Members NA site!) and create a new account.
9. ???
10. Profit

My code is too long...I'm confused here. xD It's in the format Firewind said it would be in, but it only gives me the ability to put in 12 Numbers/Letters. Is there a spot to enter in large codes for PS3? Xbox usually get's up to 24 letters. :x

Did you sign up for beta? Did you get your email to enter beta? Otherwise, you cannot play this game until EA.

So I think I need to wait until tomorrow. People who were in Phase 3 got their codes already. So I'll sign up tomorrow and get into the beta through this I think.

People in P3 didn't need codes. Either way, Early Access is up soon anyway, and hopefully you should get your P4 code. You can't pass Lv20 in the Beta so people won't be too far ahead of you even if you have to wait for EA.

Either way, the game has Level Sync from the start so if you get manage to get onto a sever with some DiV people then nobody will have a problem with Syncing down or switching to level a "subjob" to unlock abilities anyway.

How soon?!?!?!?! Like I said I am waiting to pounce on this game and get right into it. 3 days of gameplay, followed by a short break, then another 3 day grace period before the official launch. Awessssoooome.

Yup. Confirmed beta starts @ 5 AM EST. Only anther 4 something hours to go. Let me get my tea, I haven't been this excited for a game since Skyrim came out.

Well Mal, I'm not sure what server you're on, but eh if you ever want to play let me know. My info is in my spoiler. I slept about 3 hours and I'm back on. Oh and Arcanist is bloody easy once you get Carbuncle. You get a VERY good knockback that tosses enemies away from you. I can only imagine what the other summons are like later on down the line.
