NA/EU servers are up ... you guys are running into massive traffic. Need to just try and try again. I got through on my 22nd log-in and logged on to my Legacy character first (to make sure the Lobby "sticks me into the system") and then created a new character on another US server.

Or just try again when it is less congested.

Looks like a new chapter for Melody will begin tomorrow....does anyone know when the PS3 (Phase 4) Open Beta Applications open up? I'm salivating so hard over my keyboard to make an Elezen. It's driving me insane. I've kept my email page up all night, woke up at 6 this morning to try and see if I got an email from SE. o-o I must know the time that the P4 Beta will open up so I can stay up and download it to my PS3. LETS GOOOOOO!

I feel sorry for PS3 players. SE could've created a character creation app for PS3 players prior to release so that they have something to do while they wait.

That's why I own a PeeCee. :p

I'm currently grinding hours out of Borderlands 2/Minecraft/Charlie Murder to kill time.

Not trying to burst anyone's bubbles whose getting in tomorrow but based on server performance today...don't get your hopes too high for a pleasant experience :p. Took me over an hour from the beta start to get on my legacy character and another 30 minutes on top of that to make a secondary alt with some friends on a non-legacy. Our first two server choices has been closed and opened (in terms of character creation) several times today and as of 5PM CST half of our group of friends still have not been able to get on our server, nor much of the NA servers.

As of right now--our server just crashed and I can't even get on Excalibur nor the non-legacy servers, I'm reading on Reddit that all the NA servers are down (anyone confirm?)

Everyone is just trying to get on. It will calm down as the weekend progresses.

Pretty sure traffic will calm down by 5 AM my time. (Phase 4 Beta) :3

I've had no such issues. Servers went down once today and that was probably due to stress testing. But Bulmung has been full all day and I have had zero issues with access.

Character creation on the Moogle, Odin,
and Ragnarok Worlds have been reinstated.

In addtion, we have stopped
allowing the creation of new characters in the following
worlds:

Coeurl
Malboro
Cactuar
Ultros
Sargatanas
Diabolos
Gilgamesh
Leviathan
Balmung
Hyperion
Behemoth
Excalibur

When
creating a new character, please select a World other than the ones listed
above. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your
understanding.

Due to the high number of logins, we are periodically restricting/lifting the number of logins allowed at one time.

Currently, the Excalibur, Hyperion, and Chocobo Worlds are experiencing high frequency of login restrictions.
