Oh very useful, mew! Do you think it's accurate? If it's really useful, perhaps this could be a topic sticky?
I think this is the most straightforward source for server status checks.

... there is a server status on your game launcher (for PC, but I'm assuming PS3 users will get it, too) and there is a status check on the Lodestone. I would avoid third party websites for trivial matters such as a server status considering that most legitimate fan sites will have it built-in as a small widget on their website. Why risk getting malware?

Oh so it's not safe?

I actually find that page more instantly useful than those little widgets fansites have, or the overly information crowded lodestone.
but if that site is not safe, then oh well, will use the beta client think to check server status anyway.
