Note, not that I completely agree with everything that was said , since I believe assjackery exists no matter what time zone you're in. But I don't find it surprising that you'll find more immaturity from the younger 'technophiles', especially more prevalent the closer you get to Silicon Valley, as that's always been the case for the past 3 decades. They'll grow out of it for the most part (and those that don't end up being those creepy internet stalkers that troll 4chan and forums) but it's mostly an observation on my part and not an internet witch-hunt or crusade.

Yeah that's kinda the point I was getting at as well;

It's not that they're exclusive, just seems there's a disproportionate amount of assholes (in my personal experience) out west.

Exactly. What I said was just my experience within the Excalibur server and also from FFXIV only. I can't say anything about any other server or any other MMORPG. But my opinion is that, that's where the most egomaniac people come from. Not the only one at my LS that thinks that way either so nope, is not bad luck but a majority.

Although when I was in Palamecia, keep in mind I was still working around in leveling up, I did not find these problem so it feels that it was after the merge. But then again more people means more possibilities of an encounter with these special creatures.

Also I played a few times in the afternoon and AMs 7 to 1pm or a little later. Didn't see them so often. On the JPS and EU prime time neither. It was more in this time 8pm EST time and later until like 12AM. It could be that it is when I play the most so I payed more attention to that time? Don't know but it was too much to not noticed it even in the few times I played on the other hours.

Anyways like Aeni said, there will be always assholes in any time zone but for some reason they are seen more around that time. At least we got a few good ones that makes the gaming experience more enjoyable.

Btw sorry if my grammar isn't that good. My primary language is Spanish ^^
