Too much running around = bad

well it's like Skyrim, don't want to use fast travel, don't use it. I didn't use quick travel in Oblivion's biggest city either (was it Cyrodiil? no wait, that was the region, or wait the city was named that also I think, mew. See, now I know Skyrim's cities more because I played it recently. like Solitude is one of the cities.)

I purposely didn't use way-points some of the time in LL even when I had it unlocked during 1.0 in order to take in Dalmaud (or w/e the name of that moon was called) I'm glad SE put in those way-points, because it is still optional and you're not forced to use a 'teleporter', like in PSO2.

Dalamud. And yeah, I honestly felt like LL had the best view of it and the Garlean Airships in 1.23 (I swear they're modeled after the Lunar Whale...)

Running around is fine, but they shouldn't be building cities that require alternate modes of transportation.

With that attitude, the cities risk being smaller/lobbyish without waypoints option there for fast travel fans. Better big cities with waypoints option instead of shrinking and dumbing down the city design as a whole. It's a win/win case the direction they went with it instead of only catering to one group or just having a slab of a town space where everything is compressed in one room.

Anyways, I've been looking through the lore forum and it's pretty cool. I'll probably switch from Elezen to Highlander, but I'll need a fitting name. I'm thinking I can turn Dak to Dakkard, or Daklund, or Dakmungand. The last name would evoke themes of ass, butt, mining, and war.

                Or Daklemald.

How about Dak Norris, brother of Chuck? Or son of Chuck? Oh, wait, would that be Sonuva Chucknorris?
