"I" Haven't seen any devs say we get to use them, but I'm starting to think we will have them just as mounts.
Most likely won't use them in battle like we would our Chocobo's though.A mans strength isn't measured by the size of his muscle, but by the size of his heart.

They said long ago we can obtain them as mounts, mew.
Not for combat of course because a single Magitek Armor would make a party of warriors, mages and other classes obsolete
(Really, mew. Fire Beam, Bolt Beam, Ice Beam, Heal Force, Bio Blaster, Xfer, Tek Missle.... it would be overkill.)Comment

Yeah. They're one of the mounts we're able to use instead of Chocobos. They're trying to get a variety of mounts in, instead of just the normal Chocobo. I'm slightly torn on that.sigpicComment

Probably because they haven't yet figured out what to do with chocobo breeding. With that implemented, they wouldn't need to start to introduce mounts from Tomb Raider or Kingdom Hearts.Originally posted by Etra View Post
