Don't get your panties in a bunch. They had moon-phases, weather, etc in 1.0, too. I want them to get rid of the stupid "superstitious" BS, like facing, and time of day. They need to realize that not all players are able to log on 24/7 to get the most optimal "experience".

Maybe the moon is a sign? They could be planning on adding a Sailor Scout type of class.

It's gorgeous. A few of my online friends who've never played a Final Fantasy game before (but are MMORPG players in general) want to try ARR out just from the screens Yoshi-P is putting out.
