Can we PM each other to talk about the alpha or is that too breaking it? I'd goto the official forums, but they are blocked. PM'ing isnt really posting is it?

sharing pics or video or even info of any kind with non testers is a nono as far as the NDA goes

Everybody breaks NDAs, stop worrying about it. The legal isn't there to hang an axe over your head, but to give them the tools they need in case they do decide to go after an offender.

I think most of us just don't want to be banned and have to spend another $60 when the game goes live.

I'm pretty sure we can communicate with OTHER alpha testers, but not to the public at large. But my little tease was my own doing and I will not blame anyone if my account gets banned. Besides, your account does not get banned, just that you can no longer participate in Alpha, quite possibly Beta as well, but they will not prevent you from playing in release, as that would be akin to reducing your already small financial support group.

Edit: And in the event that I do get totally banned, no sweat, the game from what I've played is awesome enough that I don't mind "re-doing" everything from scratch. I actually wouldn't mind if they reset everyone to zero this time around. For me, it's like deleting several max level characters in WoW (back in Vanilla, before TBC) and starting all over on another faction, penniless. I've done it, and I will do it again

They stated they will ban your entire SE account.

As for restarting, I was actually thinking of doing that after playing Alpha... But all my levels! QQ And the special pre-ARR mark/tattoo our characters will get.

They can't ban you if they don't know it's you. Just make sure you're using a third-party application to grab screens and video so they can't hide identifying information in the output files, and blur any identifying information.

my highest level pre-ARR was only 26, so I am happy, I wont miss out on much of the new beginner stuff, and still keep my old character, she will get a make over though, I kind of like how my alpha character looks ;p

That little thing I posted was off a screen grab app in Windows 7 and not cropped from the original, which is still using an MSI Afterburner grab. SE will have no way of knowing of who, what, and where that came from

As for tramp stamps, that's out of the question, because it would require SE to actually have "full nude mode" where you can actually see where you have to put them

Kidding aside, any idea what the tattoo will be? I'm most likely starting over if there's no chance at me being able to change my main into a male Miqo'te, so chances are I might not even get to use it anyway.
