Important Question, Please help

Hey everyone, im recently getting back into FFXI cause I couldnt stay away lol. But i have a question, i have a new comp so i cant use my old game and activation, as the other comp is gone. I purchased the FFXI ultimate collection disc and was wondering if i will be able to play with those, or will i have to buy the origonal FFXI new from somewhere online first. in the collection its about 4 expansions, but can i play with just those?, or will i need the FFXI base disc first? id apreciate any answers or thoughts, thanks for your time

You can just install the game on your new machine and provided you know the account information you can log in just like you used to. Also if you were missing any of the expasions since you left you can use the activation code on your account and it will activate the expansions you are missing.
You'll also more than likely need to setup a squareenix account and bind your game account to it. Also decide on your method of payment. I used clickand buy's automatic renwal service, People complain about them but I've never had any problems so far. They email me to tell me when to make sure my money needs to be available.

If you can't remember your old game details it's best to approach it as a new player.

Create SE account,
install game.
activate code.
Create payment option.
Update game.
Log in and play.

Uh ... you posted this in the wrong section, as this is a section for Final Fantasy XIV (Fourteen) and not FFXI (Eleven). You're not going to get very many assistance if you post in the wrong section. Perhaps a friendly mod can move this topic to the appropriate section. There is also another section for computer related problems.

My reponse was for XI I didn't even notice its placed in the wrong section.
My answer covered everything I think. I don't think any more input is needed as my response answered the question that was asked and more. Unless there's something I have missed.
