I find it sad that they are doing this, acknowledging that their content isn't exactly difficult to be consumed and completed soon after it is released. Now, I'm not for horrible content design where you just place some arbitrary wall for players to slam their head on over and over until you come out with a "nerf" down the road but at the same time, you should have content that can be consumed at leisure and if you do want to take it all in, it should be through some difficulty. Anyway ...

Entry MethodPredict how long it will take for players to defeat the primal Garuda after her release in patch 1.22. Please post your guesstimates in both hours and minutes.
RulesExample:
48 hours 32 minutes
48 hours 32 minutes
- Similar to the Ifrit battle, the Garuda battle will have both a low-level version and a high-level version. The predictions for this contest relate only to the high-level battle.
- The time prediction is for how much time will pass before the first group of adventurers defeat the primal Garuda (hard mode) after patch 1.22 is released.
- The actual time will be rounded down to the nearest minute. For example, in the event that the time is 48 hours 32 minutes 58 seconds, the correct answer would be 48 hours 32 minutes.
Winners will be announced on the official forums after the development team has confirmed Garuda's defeat.

You might assume we wouldn't offer any hints on this one, but we managed to get a hint from the lead developer of primal battles himself!
"Hmm... this is tough since we're still making our final balance adjustments... but I can tell you Garuda is going to be quite a bit stronger than Ifrit and Good King Moggle Mog XII!"
As we were leaving, he mentioned one more thing...
"The quests leading up to the primal battle will be shorter than the previous ones."
And with that, let the predictions begin!
