Quite Possibly ... The Most Ridiculous Spell

This isn't labeled as (a) a group quest (b) a dungeon (c) a notorious monster(s).

Kobold Prelate, level 50, against me, level 44. Sure, there's a 6 level difference, but I've handled tougher mobs before (i.e., NMs higher level than me) Since this was what seemed to be a normal monster, I figured, why not try this. The optimal level for this quest is "War or Magic Class at 45 or Higher".

Either this is a bug ... or if intentional ... the most overpowered spell in the game.

Edit: Just so you know, my max HP w/o food buffs is at 2,343.

Shadowsear is an old Thaumaturge spell that was removed from the game for use by players when they revamped the combat system back in 1.19 I think it was. As you have noticed it is extremely powerful so they took it away from us as it was easily abusable with Chainspell for wootsome damage every few minutes.

However they still haven't removed the ability for monsters to use this ability but they did say it would be removed at some point in the future, I just don't remember when.

YG hasn't updated and still lists it as a live ability (or was a few days ago when I checked) so I assumed ppl were still using this. But man ... to get hit like that. Ouch.

Yg has updated somewhat here & there, but it's very sporadic.
