FINAL FANTASY XIV, The Lodestone

If you scroll down to about 2/3 of the way, you'll find an article on the "lesser moon Dalamud", that red object in the sky you can currently see in-game. Someone from linkshell mentioned it a week ago and it seems like SE is finally releasing more information about it.

Interesting fact:

Every patch (or at least major patch) the moon is more visible, bigger--kind of giving the illusion that it's descending upon the planet. Supposedly the premise (according to an older interview) is that everything pre 2.0 and up to patch 1.2.3 (I think) leads up to this event, and afterwards the "world is changed forever". This likely means that Dalamud will crash into our world and will reshape everything...and stuff; probably their cheesy way of changing the landscapes and such for 2.0 without magically plopping our characters into a whole new world.
