        Yea... That's from any nations, at any rank. If I find the others, I'll post where they are at. I just like Limsa. XD

          For people who solo, the gil option is a lot more attractive, considering the fact that you end up getting a lot of gils later on down the road from working on your crafting leves daily and making oddball mats. You know how you can get ahead of the curve? You keep an eye out for powerleveling guides (the ones for crafting) and then seek out the mats that people say they should be looking out for. More than naught, those mats aren't available in spades and if you're the guy that can provide it to them, with a nominal fee, of course, then you can bank off of the laziness of other players.

            Found the little guy from Ul'dah (Lalaroon) in case you guys haven't already. Kinda wish I hadn't spent my gil on relatively better gear before finding him. <_<;

              So you can buy an Aether pass for 400,000 gil and it lets you teleport where? Sorry, I missed it. Is it just between cities, or are there ports throughout the land, but you can only port from your main city?

                Within cities onry, there are plenty of teleport points scattered throughout the city. If you have a pass you can use them to teleport from one part of the city to the other Windy-tele-taru like.

                PS > Normally you can only get them for the city you are affiliated with. But thanks to the Qiqiroons you can also get it for other cities.

                  This pass is not to be taken lightly especially for LL. I would get LL as a priority before Gridania and then Uldah last. Due to the stupid layout for LL, walking takes in obnoxiously long time to get anywhere, despite adding another passage leading you to the Fisherman's Guild from the southern spiral case. Gridania is almost as bad, maybe just as bad, but at least it's "round" and only has one level. Uldah has a second floor which adds a bit of inconvenience but there are multiple ways to get there and the bulk of the city is on the first floor anyway with passages cutting across the center (and a circular layout is much more desired than some myriad of mazes laid out in a haphazard fashion)

                    For once I agree - LL really does take priority for passes. If nothing else to get around the annoying transition between the upper & lower decks.

                    Don't forget they're revamping everything in 2.0, so I'll be curious to see how LL's layout will be changed.

                      I hate time spent during traveling, hence I only do missions when I can anima my way there. But 400k for just porting between a certain city? F that.

                        It's porting within the city. For example, you can port from outside the markets to the inn, or outside of the Marauder's guild to outside the city's gate. There is no pass for porting from a city to another city (that's where you use your teleport)

                          Speaking (indirectly) of money...I'm still trying to get a good grasp of what is considered a good amount in this game. I typically hover around 500-600k from doing either battle or crafting leve's and vendoring the odd and ends there. I sell a few things on the Market Wards, but I'm not a high level crafter by any means so I'm not able to bank much in that aspect. I'm going to wager that 500k is not that much, since I see lowbie gear that aren't HQ quality or NM drops going for 70-120k easily. As I understand it, FFXIV had some sort of inflation hit a while back so the older players that stuck around were able to kind of bank on that (apparently). As someone who has re-rolled for the 5th time, as well as taking large breaks in between patches I'm anything but "rich". I get the sense that having a couple million would make you feel quite comfortable--seems that's about how much rare drops at level 50 costs on Selbina at least.

                            Exp bonus from resting is already godly, these scrolls are just a "little" bonus, i guess it's nice for those who can afford it. But it's also a good way to remove some money from the game.

                              I used to have around 15 million gil before I spent most of it on mats and gear. I'm just usually hovering around 5 million and when I'm not lazy I'll make about 350-500K a week from my retainer sales (still spending my gil at the same rate I take in, though) I don't do much leve unless it's to level my GLA so I don't see much income from it.

                              You could make more money if the servers weren't all currently dead (at least mine is) It was much easier to make gil when the game first was released and I was making about 500-750K a day. There were players that had 50-250 million gils but most of them quit (therefore, eliminating a lot of gil out of the economy in that fashion) Although I dare say if they ever decide to return, inflation is going to get out of whack.

                                I have around 22 million. I dont waste gil, I killed the NM's I needed to for the gear i needed leveling up (i suggest everyone does this as well) and i dont buy double materia items. I farm the materia myself, mostly, and then i go for a single materia meld. I made most of my money by selling my crystals to the crafters when the game first came out. I'd level all my jobs solo to level 20, accumulating a shit ton of crystals and shards, and then go shout in uldah until i had a buyer. Also, hording ftw... I cant tell you how many times my retainers got full so i decided to sell whatever o had the most of, and I'd be like, holy shit that sells for 8k each and I have 50???
