I never really understood why a matriarchal, female-dominated cat race needed playable male characters. I thought the whole point of making them female-only was to reinforce that fact of their culture.
Plus history has proven Catwoman is way more awesome than Catman.
He can't even touch the sorts of heists Catwoman pulls off. I suppose the Joker or another villain might hire him, but other rank-and-file in Arkham are just as, if not more, capable.
Hey first time poster here. I have to say that I like the Male Miqo'te.
As far as the Catwoman/Catman debate. Catwoman is obviously the superior of the two, mainly because catman is barely mentioned and isn't even related to catwoman. He's actually very similar to batman, the only difference is that catman was a villain (he's currently become more of a anti-hero), and he only became a villain because he was bored hunting jungle cats.
He's one of the characters who could be interesting but he's comes off as more of a mashup between two pre-existing characters and has to faded into obscurity to the point that usually only the most avid batman fans likely remember him and/or knew of his existence. *glares at nickelodeon's Fairly Odd Parents*
Personally if I were going to refer to a cat-themed male hero/villain I would go with Marvel's Black Panther.
