Is 2million considered a lot of gil in ffxiv these days?

no, i have 21 mil, and i dont think thats really alot. I posted this in other thread, but posting here too. Do we get to pick servers or are we being put on a server if we'vw already been active? I'm on Rabanastre now so it looks like I'm being put on Durandhal? Either way, I'm part of an active LS and I'd need to go where my LS goes. So... I hope I'm wrong and my LS picks Exaclibur, or if I'm right, I hope you come to Durandhal.

Yeah the allowance thing kinda threw me off. Logging on to 2 million gil was a bit of a shock.

I think I left 6 months ago with something like 2,000, lol.

Nor really. You get gil a lot faster than XI. I get 240k gil by just doing leve's, and I even bought some equip, and crafting stuff.

There's some system of money allowance apparently. I logged out 6 months ago with 2000 gil to my name. Today I resubbed and logged in to find I have 2 million.

Yeah..... I felt the same way. After looking around in the mini menu thing they added... there's a little timer that says "allowance in 8hours and suchandsuch minutes" I can only assume that's what it is. I wrote down my current Gil total. I'll check later when I've gone past that 8 hour mark. I'm not logged in.... so if I suddenly have more money, that's how I've been getting it.

When I unsubbed. They hadn't even introduced companies yet... so I'm inclined to think no.

that allowance is the leve allowance, LOL. nothing to do with gil. you get a maximum of 100 leves and get a new leve every 8 hours or whatever.

The allowances are for the Leve quests I though.

I actually did have a retainer full to the gills with stuff.... I wasn't aware they remained there while you unsubbed.
