Letter from the Producer, XXIII (01/23/2012)

Very reasonable, mew, considering this is like the first in along time they share a letter like this. People impatient will ust have to understand FFXIV still has hard working people on it and the 1.21 update is I think in two weeks!

You know, I'm seriously considering switching to XIV after playing XI for a little while. <_<;

Tanakaism in XI is more evident with every day I log on. >_<

Plus right now I rather bet on 2.0 than on XI in the long run, just need to sell everything in my mules and buy some nice gear for my char so he can at least rest in peace in a more decent melee set.

oh mew! That is still much to do! First they have to fix and update things on PC version before they talk about 2.0, otherwise it would make people more upset if the tentative date is changed (even PS3 people are already getting impatient about 2.0 news, but overall a tentative date would not help people keep quiet about release date questions. )

So ya while they are getting ready to remake the world and add classes and stuff, they are also developing stuff to keep existing members interested and active.

So ya it is a careful process to get it done right and 2.0 ready when it's ready, mew!
