Personal Chocobo

Would anyone be so kind as to outline the steps needed to get the rank required to get the chocobo issuaance?
I've finished up to and including Imperial Devices (Ul'Dah) but am unable to receive any further missions for some reason. I'm lvl 29 gld top rank.; ;

You'll need at least one other player to complete some of the quests in order to obtain enough points to fulfill your rank requirement to obtain a chocobo license. That's because some of the dungeons require a minimum of 2 players (i.e., a group)

Huh? I obtained my chocobo doing everything solo.

There were dungeons that required minimum of a party (Which means 2 players) What nation were you doing it through?

Uldah and i soloed it.

Maelstrom (Limsa Lominsa) had dungeons that you were not allowed to solo ... at least according to the quest requirements. I'll see if I can go in them w/o a party.

Yepp, you can't solo Imperial Devices (Limsa Lominsa) which is required to advance the quest line in order to receive more points towards your rank.

BTW, just noticed, but that doesn't help the OP J9. It only tells you the obvious ... which is he needs to gain rank to get the license. He wants to know how he can get more quests that rewards the marks needed to rank up.

You need to do the first couple of quests for each of the Grand Companies (Immortal Flames, Maelstrom, Order of the Twin Adder) before you can get anymore quests in any particular city. I get this kind of comment when trying to get the next quest:
