I've always disliked how visible ninjas are in XI. I mean it worked and I loved subbing /nin but I still wish Ninja had been the sneaky DD version of THF.

Am I the only one who'd love to see them either go back to how Edge/Shadow, or the Assassin Class in FFTA?

well um I think Edge used ninja scrolls to use Ninjutsu. And both can Throw, Though Shadow couldn't dual wield without Genji Gloves I think.

Well that sounds better than how FFXI handled Ninjutsu, mew. But I think ninja scrolls would be expensive to stock up on (and throwing weapons like shuriken, well I guess that's unavoidable in mmorpgs, mew.) Ninjutsu would be better using MP, then the class wouldn't cost as much to manage.

Shadow threw scrolls, Edge actually had spells that used a little bit of MP and were quite powerful.

I also liked that back then before XI, Blink didn't absorb hits but instead greatly increased Evasion.

Didn't FFV Ninjas have blink that absorb 2 hits, mew? Oh wait I think it was called Image.
