So, mid-June patch... whos excited?

What up homeboys.


So, for the last 2 weeks I've completely stopped playing FFXIV, but not logging in, no no, I still do that everyday, I just sit in one spot and semi-afk all day when I'm not chating on the LS.

This is identical to my final year on FFXI when I ran out of things to do (other than pointless grinding), and I guess I'm fine with that, an elaborated free to use chat room isn't bad at all.

Anyhoo... Yoshi promised us a mid-June patch that should be full of wonders, adventure and romance! and to be completely honest I'm keeping my hopes low, but still somewhat excited that there MIGHT be some fun activities in the work.

So, anybody else hoping for something interesting out of this patch am I the last FFXIV player on FFXIOnLine?

I log in a few times here and there, but I just play other stuff, and continue to work on a project of mine. I can not wait till 1.8 patch, it will change the battle system a good bit, and add a few other things that will make the game a little more interesting.

Yeah, I sit there, but I keep myself busy.

And yeah, hoping that 1.8 won't suck.

I don't have high hopes, but this is the patch that will make it or break it for me. I'm tired of waiting to play a game (and get enjoyment out of it) that I bought 7 or so months ago.

I would not say it would make/break me on the game, I have tons of other stuff to do while the MMO I want to play is fixed.... if the other online games I want to play come out before it is fixed, well then I will have to say goodbye to FFXIV.

It's going to take more than this month to make things up to standards, mew. mmorpgs are a growing process.

Unless June is the month they plan to really open up lots of content, people will have to be a little more patient with FFXIV's recovery and polish. Even those that give up now, will eventually return when FFXIV adds and improves more stuff!

It's still a bit early to really go full force with its reboot, that will perhaps be around the time PS3 launch is designed and prepared for.

Pft, I've played so many generic Korean MMO, I doubt FFXIV is as bad as people are making it out to be. No MMO can faze me anymore!

you can pickup the standard edition of FFXIV for 15$ now (at least at game stop)

I can see though if the PS3 version hits off, the PC versions price will go back up some, maybe to 30 or 40

Meh, unfortunately my computer can't run much, or else I'd see what everyone was complaining about. Hell, I'm surprised it was able to run FFXI at all!

My computer can't even run FFXIV. >.< I just wanted the stuff that came with the collector's edition as I am going to be starting collecting FF stuff.

And, if it could run it, I think I might actually enjoy the game. I find it interesting, and a new concept on how to play a MMORPG with out auto attack, which I am angry they are taking out. But I'll see how it goes from here.

I am looking forward to it, the game definatly needs something to happen to keep people interested. I am tried of seeing LS friends disapearing never to return.

I also finally got my first combat job to 40 (don't laugh)... ok you can laugh a little bit.... just not too much. So I am looking forward to the content that they say is not going to be R50 minimum. Then again maybe R40 will be "good enough" to do the R50 content as long as I am careful on the pulls.
