The heavens seem hell-bent on inundating Gridania of late. While the Twelveswood is no stranger to willful weather, something is afoot that sits ill with this reporter. Driven by an inner disquiet, I set out on a mission to give shape and form to intangible trepidation.
Ere long, I pick up the trail of irregularity, catching curious whispers on the wind that deaspected crystals have been circulating. Yes, you read true: these crystalline manifestations of aetheric energy are turning up utterly divested of aspect. Even a wee tot could tell you that such a thing is an affront to the very laws of nature.
Perchance this development does not suffice to chill spines, the frightful rumors being propagated by a camp-bound transient could well prompt folk to run for the hills. This shady figure is said to manifest with nary a warning, preach feverishly of impending doom, and then vanish like a phantom only to reappear elsewhere. Though the ramblings of this seemingly touched soul are largely lost to gibberish, such is the zeal with which they are delivered, more than a few citizens are like to be taken by fear.
Far be it from this reporter's intent to incite panic, but if history has taught man aught, it is that we dismiss portentous signs at our peril. Are these incidents merely isolated occurrences? Or are they a dire warning of disaster? This I leave to you, our informed readers, to ponder.

I live in a valley so it was pleasant heat, nonstop wind and a "should we start making sandbags?" moment when the clouds came back

Thought I'd bump this thread a bit:

So i'm playing (again, might actually stick around and get a few classes to 50 this time now that hte game doesn't suck AS MUCH) and I started the Grand company quests.

Let me get this straight:

Back around patch 1.17/1.18 the story throughout the worlds was that an airship had been destroyed between limsa and ul'dah? and that a mysterious NPC was appearing randomly throughout the world and buffing players that were nearby?

I missed that patch due to afghanistan, but if that's the case this lore is panning out to have me at the edge of my seats...

I gathered from the few GC quests i've done, that this Uranzigar(sp) is touting the comming of this 7th time of chaos (v2.0 ?) and that the players will be the true determination of the destruction/chaos that unfolds (I.e, Will the game succeed after v2.0? If not the world ends, litterly when they turn off the servers. If the game does succeed the players get to know that it exhists because of their actions, as in making it a success)

Uzi, cause i can't spell his name, talked about these mysterious forces, whom I felt were the corporation of SE.. if that makes sense :/
Seriously, Yoshi will have blown my mind if he does this. A game that fluidly changes from month to month (est.) all leading up to a huge one time only event that will re-define the game entirely. Hopefully to include the horrid reputation it got from it's failed launch.

I'm excited that's for sure.
