Special faction leves

So does anyone know how the special faction leves work? I was told there's two initial ones, and then after those are completed you get to do the major one, and i think the major one gives you a piece of the Harlequin set or the Bucaneer set? Is that correct? I'm assuming the first 2 can be completed solo by a rank 50 character? Does the final one need more than 1 rank 50? I appreciate your help!

It was a while ago I did the first ones but I seem to remember only having one to start, then x amount of time after a second one became available. Then x days again the 3rd one appeared which I promptly I completed. Since then I have not had a 4th one to do so perhaps I haven't waited long enough for the next ones to appear or perhaps it is random.

In any case I haven't got to a final one or anything significant in this quest line. I also dont remember how long I had to wait before the next quests became available, it was at least a week but most likely more.

Is this the factional leves you get (10, 20, 30, 40, 50) or are you guys talking about something entirely different (and only for rank 50 players)?

All I know is I have roughly 1,700 factional points right now and probably will have over 3,000 to spend when I get to 50

These quests are marked as "Special Quests" under the Horn And Hand faction and they are available at any rank as far as I can tell. I have only completed 3 in the sequence but so far they have only cost 100 Faction points each. You can see an example of the quest I rescently completed here. Also, unless it changed in the 1.16 patch the number of Faction credits you can have per faction is capped, I think the cap is 1,000 credits per faction. It would be worth checking because if it is you are wasting Faction credits.

Highest points accumulated in a faction is about 750 atm so I'm nowhere near that cap. I'll let you know when I hit it and if something bad happens. In the meantime I barely do any battlecraft leves ... I only do fieldcraft (to raise fishing) I hit 30 and will work on the quest this weekend and keep pushing this higher. It's mostly to get alchemy up which in turn supports goldsmithing and other things later.

Well my LS has started a NM hunting time now, so that's something cool and end gameish we can do. I got to the NM faction leve, and we are going to do all NM faction leves first. The NM faction leves cost 400 points and are available after you complete all the precursor faction leves under it's section. The NM drop the mats that you trade for a Bucaneer's item or a Harlequin's item. I'll post back later how it goes. I know for these NM faction leves though you need at least level 50 peeps.

That's interesting, has somebody worked out what all the precursors are or do you have to complete every Leve in all 3 tiers for a given faction to get the NM Leves?
