Finished "It Kills With Fire (Ul'Dah)" last night. For those whoa are not familiar... that's the NQ Ifrit fight. It was really easy because I took 3 level 50s with me and myself as a lvl 40 CONJ... but it was still really awesome.

After I finished it, I ranked myself up twice with the seals I got as rewards.

---> Private Second Class = 1000 Seals

---> Private First Class = 1500 Seals

Working on leveling up to 50 CONJ now so that I can finish my WHM quests mostly solo and participate in the Good King Moogle Mog Fight as well as the Ifrit Prime fight.

Fortunately 2.0 will get rid of the pointless corridors and add zones instead.

And speaking of accomplishments, I got lvl 33 THM and LNC 15, but fun factor seriously takes a dive once you move to the lvl 30 camps. <_<;

BTW how do you get company seals solo before lvl 40? The only solo quests I've found are escort (I got owned once I got to the part where I had to fight 8 mobs at the same time) and protecting the NPC, which only gives 40 seals for 15 mins of fighting lowly mobs. And then if you set the difficulty to 2+ lvls above your own they become NMs class which you still have to fight for 15 mins straight. For... only... 40 (+10)... freaking... seals...

PS > For the record I need another 805 to get my choco license. So doing 20 of those quests would probably make me quit, lulz. <_<;

I got almost enough seals by doing the company quests. I neded like 80 more or something so i did some company leves and had enough for my choc.

Okay, so the provisioning and supply turn-ins for the companies is what Raydeus should be checking out to acquire his points outside of group activities. I turned in 50 ash logs to see what I'd get and they rewarded me at 3 Storm points per 1 Ash log. Not bad actually, considering that I can harvest a stack of ash logs in an hour. If you do stuff like "Circles of Dodo Leather", you can easily pile up stacks in an hour of power crafting. You could potentially turn out as much as 300 company seals a day w/o setting foot in any dungeon (for 1 hour of work a day)

My hoarding came in useful because of these turn-ins. I unloaded both my retainers and marched into the flames to turn in whatever was good for that day. I threw about 50k worth of stuff at them and walked out with around 1k seals. I obviously can't do that every day... but it's a lot better than just NPCing the crap that I get while I'm out and about.

175/200 on my person... maxed on both of my retainers. The retainers are selling stacks of things I have too much of in their bazaars.... slowly.

My retainers names (and by god... I hope I get to keep them) are Sadine and Backpack (please let me keep backpack).

Backpack is loaded completely with gear and weapons (equippables). He's currently selling Rank 20 gear like its going out of style.

Sadine is loaded with crafting materials/food/drops. iirc she's currently selling stacks of 99 Cotton Bolls, Cotton Cloth and 4-5 different kinds of dye that I was crafting to level alchemy.

I usually make around 200-300k per day off their sales.

I'm really going to miss having 2 retainers when 2.0 comes out. If i get to pick which one I keep... you bet your ass it'll be Backpack.

For me, it was some NPC I had to speak with south of Bloodshore (There's a camp with an NPC that unlocks one of the achievement categories)

It's at the little camp just south of Bloodshore. You talk to the Bard there (minstrel?)... idk... the last one I expected to give me anything. It's a stable called like... Red Rooster or some other such nonsense.

Just talking to him and listening to his ramblings and boom... goobue mount.

Enjoy not being able to see shit.

There's not chance I'd ever trade my Chocobo for anything else unless (yeah right) YoshiP convinced Kojima to allow him to add Orbital Frames to XIV. You know, since Cid'lanaut can invent some pretty cool stuff to fight the Garleans and all that.

I'd f*ing ride the raptors straight out of Cape Terrigan (actually, there's tons near Camp Iron Lake with the same skin) if they added it as a mount. And Lord Onzozo for the tentacle sex.
