The weird scorpion looking things are DIAMAITO; presumably an even more bastardly version of Diremite. Apparently they are mostly workers, with some warriors, that make up colonies. Their hobbies include eating disgusting things, raping, and pillaging.

The rest of it can wait for someone who actually thinks it's worth putting effort into anything related to FF14
