I was lurking on this thread, but I had to register just to ask you this.

Why the hell do you "meow" on every single one of your posts (or ANY of your posts, for that matter)? I see you have an anime avatar so I suppose you might think it's totally "kawaii" or something but realistically it makes you look mentally ill.

The only person I've ever seen "meow" as much as you was a homeless batshit insane asian dude in the Tenderloin district of San Francisco (read: the ghetto) rolling around in a wheelchair and "meowing" every time someone approached him. I would not aim to emulate that if I were you.

All of the extensions are making me regret buying 6 months worth of Crysta in advance so I don't have to put up with Click and Buy, because I don't think you can get a refund on that stuff.

That being said, it's nice to see that Squeenix is at least trying to improve things. It took Blizzard a full year before they started fixing WoW until it was anything like it is today. The only MMO in recent memory that has had a "good" release is probably Aion to be honest.

Also, I don't block people because I feel like I'm cutting something out of the forum, not leaving it there 100%. You, or really anyone, wouldn't understand what I mean unless you have some level of OCD.

I think buying the 6 month plan was a good idea, imo. By the time they get the game up to par, you'll have a full year when you include what you paid for! (Depending on when the December update comes out [after the 22nd], there will be another extension.)

People seem to forget the mess that WoW was, though. No one seems to remember some of the servers that were shut down for, literally, a full week, the skating around on your knees until you lagged out, absolutely nothing to do in the game besides quests, etc. Oh well. While I do think the game is garbage right now, I do hope this new update makes me want to play again.

(I know which threads are quite useful by J9. Many of them can quickly be found in the Video Games forum. Point is, you tell someone off and then not back up your argument. I may whine, but at least I know how to back up my thought process and opinions. This was pretty much my point for these last few posts. Except for when I first bashed J9. That was purely hatred endorsed.)

Why are these useful? J9 updates them periodically with new information that I most probably wouldn't have found on my own. If it wasn't for J9, I probably would have no interest in many of the new games on the horizon. However, on the other side of the spectrum, J9 posts threads that make me want to punch things.

Posts I find useful by J9 you and others may not necessarily do so, it's subjective. I could list a dozen and you could say there are all garbage or agree with me but considering my response was to a one-post troll I'd be wasting my time anyway. The fact that you descended to defend them demanding backup of useful threads by J9 inferring there aren't any only to then go on and list posts you find useful, some of which I'm pretty ambivalent about, reinforces my belief what is "useful" or "interesting" to me may not be to you or the rest of the board.

Neither of us has the right to tell J9 to stop as long as she posts within the rules of the forum regardless of how enjoyable many people find it to bash on someone who never defends herself and just meets their snide comments and vitriol with nothing more than a "Mew" and further posts, some useful some not so.

on a more serious note, i would be more than happy to play another month if its free, However, the game is still broken. I logged in a couple of days ago to see its progression. 30 minutes into the game and a levequest of mine bugged out and wouldn't register my kill count.

Its little bugs like these that are keeping me from actually enjoying my experience. Theres always something stopping the enjoyment.

Offering an extended period is fine, but thats NOT going to fix your broken game. Your just trying to prolong the inevitable, i understand that if they didn't extend the free trial period, many players would have left sooner,but most players are just becoming restless and re joining XI.

The game isn't garbage though, its just broken. It WILL get fixed in time, but realistically will you be willing to wait that long? maybe.

So I finally got an actual lance for my lancer. It's big, pointy, and makes a kching sound when I poke stuff with it. I r teh happy.

In other news, the Mithra companion I got from the level 20 quest is kind of... suggestive. I like where this is going.
