Printed out a guide? Think of the paper! The trees!

oh ya well official guide books use paper too, but they make a living off of making guides. Printer paper at home is kind of excessive.

Use post consumer untreated paper if you are concerned about the environment. Sure, it's a little more expensive than the generic paper, but think of the trees!
Burning questions are burning: Is jenova_9 really a girl and is she cute? Does she talk like that in real life?

Don't need paper if you just pull up Gamefaqs on a laptop (highly recommended) or even an iphone/android/blackberry. I mean if you're playing an RPG on your XBox or something. One day, consoles will have the ALT-TAB ability. And guess what? FF games will still crash while in full screen mode on your PS4.

PS4? SE can't even afford to make 1/2 of PS3 games.

I'm sure Sony is itching to push out their new consoles and just write off the PS3 as an experimental loss ... or whatever.

It's way more likely the X720 would be like that. Fun part is when a PS4 comes out (in maybe 5 years) it will use the same controller all the Playstations have used with maybe an extra button for incorporated Move functionality.

Edit > Also, while they screwed up the launch when they pressured Kutaragi to release the PS3 too soon. As developers get more experience with Cell games will only get better, whereas the X360 has pretty much hit a wall on both storage capacity and development tricks. So the 720 will hit the stores way before the PS4, not to mention the PS3 will start making more money as time passes. Unless Microsoft was smart enough to go the Wii way, but somehow I think that's very unlikely to happen considering how the Xbox culture comes directly from the PC.

                LOL yeah!

I would print out old-from-jp-release gear guides and use a black marker to scratch out items I obtained and wonder how awesome would things like "Ki projectile" and "Raging Crash" look like.

                Man those were the days.

There's a joke going around about Kutaragi-san's comment late last year about how "he has a vision for the PS4, 5 and 6" and then there's some pictures going around with him holding a white PS3 with the numbers "4, 5, 6" photoshopped on it.

As for Nintendo, I'm not sure if they're going to go back to the PowerPC via IBM or they may end up partnering with Texas Instruments using the latest ARM based processor. For some reason, I just don't see them going to AMD or Intel especially if they're going to continue with their stance of "somewhat underpowered but quite passable and profitable" consoles. Although AMD is in the throes of an integrated CPU & GPU orgy and that may (cost effective) fit with Nintendo's paradigm.

So, like, is there a way to maybe not ban J9 from posting, but from starting new topics? I AM JUST SAYING.
I'd been contemplating the same thing, but then I noticed she's had the courtesy of marking all her threads with a "!" icon, warning us about the content should our eyes fail to notice the OP name.

I propose instead that no one else use the yellow ! icon.

Yeah she has 11 threads on the first page alone, and she DOESN'T EVEN HAVE THE FUCKING GAME!!!

Enough already. She's doing the same shit at other forums too.

11 semi-useless threads to read about people grunting at J9 > no new threads in a semi-dead forum.

For me at least, its better than reading work mail~

There's plenty to talk about around here besides J9. If his/her presence is lessened, it just means that other threads will get more attention. That's not a bad thing.

Does that mean you'll post more often? Because less than 2 weeks ago J9 stopped posting for a few days and the forum pretty much went into a coma.

Indeed. I didn't get into the list of top posters by, you know, not posting.
