Re: Repair
Here's my tip for you guys.
1. When crafting, strip down to your skivvies. Save on repairs. It is not worth ANY MONEY to repair starting gear. They also only vendor for 1 gil.
2. Use crafting (local) leves to get all crafting up. You only need main hand crafting tool to get most things accomplished at the entry level. Make it a point to gain access to ALL guilds (Rank 10) and you should be in a decent position to handle majority of repairs on gear and weapons up to Rank 20.
When you are financially situated so that you're not begging friends for repair allowances you can pretty much focus on one or a small handful of pursuits. Make damn sure you set aside money for repairs (keep it on your retainer) because as you get higher ranked gears, you will find it more and more expensive and inconvenient to try to manage all the repairs on your own.
