Just like mana burn i take it, SE might ban @ first but allow you to continue!

Of course the more doe it i take that SE will take care of this sooner.

Blizzard bans players en masse. Reasoning is if it's an exploit then don't do it. Yes, a lot of ppl will do it, but it's not hard for SE to figure out who is legit and who is an exploiter. I wouldn't want to be banned.

I am not sure, last time they did the mass banning was that chest dup. I never got banned for mana burning at all nor even a GM call on me even we killed each other in mana burning war. Let's not use Blizzard as an excuse, they are a different company.

These seem legit as a mean of strategy, the xp will die down since after 20 the actual fatigue system kicks in. So it really doesn't matter much. I think this will be fixed but not as a mean to be banned.

Anyway, it is great to know something like this exist pass the words, no point to keep things to yourself, let it be known so SE will open their eyes quicker.

No it's not. If it requires "certain things" in order to make it work, it's not a strategy, but it's a cheat/exploit. Thus, an automatic ban.

Regarding a Skill Point Gain Issue


We have confirmed an issue where players may be able to obtain abnormal amount of skill points while fighting in a party as Conjurer or Thaumaturge. The issue is currently being addressed.

Also we would like to remind that repeating this method intentionally to obtain abnormal amount of skill point is considered as fraudulent behavior. With players who have abused this method, an investigation shall be made and their account may be suspended in case we determine it to be malignant. The investigation is expected to take a while until the completion. For those of you who have abused this method, please report yourself through GM Call. By reporting yourself in, GM will correct the amount of skill point you have gained and the penalty to your account will be exempted.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Just going over the people banned that I was familiar, there seemed to be more than just the chest dupe going on there. Quite a few people in that ban had a checkered past with GMs, from ritually doing MPK in DA to doing the "Wall of Justice" to AV to just being an all-around prick to players and GMs alike. They swept out a lot of assholes. Sure, they got a few innocents (or so the "innocents" say) but that's bound to happen in any mass-banning.

Best rule of thumb is if it looks like an exploit that you don't get involved.

Of course, in your case, good advice generally goes to waste, so knock yourself out.

EDIT: And as you look up at Aeni's post there, are you really willing to take the gamble?

For those of you who have abused this method, please report yourself through GM Call. By reporting yourself in, GM will correct the amount of skill point you have gained and the penalty to your account will be exempted.

Hey don't look at me like i am a bad guy here, i am trying to pass the message, what is a better way to get SE notice by everyone exploit it According the thread link i have posted, this exist ever since closed beta and between that time to this time and still didn't get fix?

Just like most MMO exploits, pass the messages and get it fix. Now if they never fix, i wouldn't mind get the level as i did as a mana burn, they never banned me after all those years.

they already know about it, and have already banned for it, there is no "SE needs to notice" about it

Also, you are aware that minors are more than capable of getting M rated games, right? All those silly laws the try to pass don't stop it. They get their big bro or someone else to buy it for them.

All the same, you have no idea if kids are looking at this site or not. You have no way to make sure. That's why there are rules.

Where was this for the Salvage bans? Well at least they learned, since a lot of people were unfairly banned for that.
