well you know the first last boss of the current story arc?

1. Maybe there is something Shadow Lordy waiting for players right now?

2. So um how's the story so far,

3. did anyone get any hints of Garlean influence or presence in the FFXIV story yet?

4. So um FFXIV is kinda officially released now right? Or still some more days for all PC owners to get it?

The main antagonist is the first person you'd expect, but also the last person you'd expect, because that would make it too easy. Unless of course they did an evil monologue in the middle of town, in which case it's alright to suspect them.

And the story (for me) so far has revolved around guys speaking about the ruling Syndicate of Ul'dah, and I'm not gonna spoil anything, as there's nothing to spoil thus far.

It's fairly obvious who the main antagonist is. You just need to go to the Lodestone site and read it.

If you're too lazy, it's the Garlean Empire. This game is loosely based off of FFXII's world. A large empire threatening to take over the various smaller city-states. Huge ass airships of the empire. Lots of crafts that look suspiciously like it got ripped out of Vaan's world.

If they add an option so I can have the AI control other random strangers in my party, the better!
